MINI VACATION

This weekend our best friends came to Florida to visit with us, just for the weekend. We had a blast. We got a little sunburned but what do you expect when you spend a total of about 10 hours at the beach. We swam in the ocean, looked for shells, and saw a sting-ray jump out of the water. We truly enjoyed seeing our friends they are one of a kind. The weekend just seemed to fly by so fast and hated to see them leave. But we know that they had to get back to their family and to work.

Everything is going good here, found out that we only have a week or two left here and then we will be coming home for a little while. At the end of August we will be heading to Niles, Michigan for the next job. Can't wait to get home and see everyone.

Special Thanks to Charlie and April: We had a wonderful time and are so glad y'all came to see us. We really enjoyed spending time with you and seeing you.

NOTHING NEW

Sorry it has been a while since I last updated my blog, nothing exciting has really happened. Kevin has been working hard as usual. And when he is here and on his day off we go shelling. We have a wide variety of shells from really small to really big. We have found that the best time to look for shells is around 8:30pm and around midnight. So really we have been doing the same thing since we got here. Oh, yeah and we are tired of seeing all the rain, but it does keep it nice and cool.

Hope that everyone had a wonderful 4th of July. We decided not to do much because there was just way to many people out on the beach and we had a perfect view of the fireworks from our 1 foot balcony. So we just stayed in and watched the fireworks and watch the Nationwide Race from Daytona on TV. All in all we really enjoyed our evening.

Family Vacation

Well I got to fly home for a week and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We drove Saturday to Houston and met up with Erin and David. Sunday we went Kemah and we had a blast, Karsyn is just too funny for words. We rode rides and of course I got to ride all the ones with Karsyn, with exception of the carousal. Oh and don't ask how Karsyn and I both fit into that airplane, it is still a mystery. I really enjoyed taking the time to spend with my family and hope I get to do it again soon.
