Christmas was a blast, we held Christmas Eve at Granny & Poppy's house and to sit back and watch my 14 month old cousin and my 1 year old neice walking, talking and shoving each other around. Christmas morning is the best watching Karsyn open her gifts and try to ride her tri-cycle. Then off to my in-laws house and that was fun as well. After all that we came home and just vegged the rest of the evening.

Family History
I recently started researching my family as well as Kevin's family, well mine is done, but Kevin's is a little more difficult considering he can't remember his mother's parents name other than Granny and Grandpa. If anybody out there knows family history on the: Spessard, Dennis {Royals}, Nortons, Jones, or Mosel please let me know.
Thank you

Princesses are Fun

She is getting so big it is hard to believe that she is nearly a year old. I spent 3days with her this week and she is definately cute. I enjoy spending time with her and she is learning so much. She is definately not camera shy she loves her picture being taken. She is trying to stand on her own and loves when Mama and Dada come home, she gets all excited and starts to scream in joy.

Halloween With Friends

We went trick or treating with some of our friends and I will say I was exhausted afterwards. We went on a hay ride through the Deer Ridge subdivision, that place was packed but the kids had fun. I will probably never go there again.

My Little Secret Exposed

Saturday I made a very bold decision, one I thought I would never do. I went and got the first part of a tattoo. Yes this is my first one and no it isn't done. I am going back to add wings, a halo, and a ribbon around it that will have the name of the person that has my heart. Can anybody guess who's name that is, if I have already told you be quiet. Post your comments and let me know.

5 o'clock Shadow

On our way back from Salem we ran into a 5 o'clock shadow and it was 5 when these pictures were taken. It has been raining and when we went through the mountains you could see the fog rising up, you really can't see the mountains to well but you get the picture.

Trolley & Firehouse Museums

Yesterday we decided that we were going to travel and look at the sites, so our first stop was the Trolley and Firehouse Museum that is near the hotel. There wasn't much in the Trolley part but when we got to the Firehouse it was wonderful they had fire trucks that dated back to 1927 and some equipment that dated back before 1920 {go to our pictures and you can see them}. We then took a trolley ride for about 1 mile. After that we were going to go to an Ancient Burial Cemetary in Hartford but found ourselves in Salem, Massachusetts hunting for witches. And I am sorry to say that they will be no pictures from Salem because they didn't allow the use of cameras in the museums. Our trip started about 10am and we got back about 7pm tired and warn out.

Foilage Season Is Here

Today we took about a 170 mile tour of Conneticut and Massachusetts all to find ourselves eating at a McDonald's about 49 miles north of the hotel. On our trip we got to see different small towns as well as some of the leaves starting to change for the fall season.

My Sister

Well since she has left Texas she has left destruction in her path. Heading through Tornado Alley and now moving into the Ohio River Valley, connecting with the already front pushing through the area. What was Tropical Storm Erin is still leaving her mark on the upper United States. Erin please leave us alone. Even though she is leaving a trail that spans about 2000 miles from Texas to Massachusettes, no matter what she does I will still love my sister.
Here is a grim picture of what the skys look like here. It is cool and raining off and on up here.

Fishing In Niantic
These some pictures of our deep sea fishing trip. We left the hotel room at 2am EST and drove for 1 1/2hrs to the Niantic Marina where our charter boat set sail at 4:30am EST. We all caught our limit on Striper Bass and Blue Fish. We docked around 11am and went back to the hotel to sleep. Hope you enjoy the pictures. The first one is Bruce and the biggest fish caught today, and yes he caught it.

Connecticut
Yes, I know that this is a road sign. It is the one right on the freeway next to the hotel that we will call home for at least the next month.
This is the view that we have outside of our hotel room. We get to wake up every morning open the curtains and see this. Actually, this is the site that you see everywhere up here, it is beautiful.
This Friday we will be going fishing out on the North Atlantic. I will definitely post pictures of that adventure look for them on Saturday.

Problems With The North!!!!
Today we got a digital camera so we could take pictures of the sites and all that we see. After that we went to the grocery store they have up here which is either Geissler or Big Y, and found that these people up here may have a problem. We found NO corn tortillas, or even ranch style beans, we asked a lady about the beans and she didn't even know what they were. In some places Frito's Bean Dip you can't even find. And if you ever find you self with the craving for a Chorizo and Egg Taco you can just forget about eating something like that, it is nowhere to be found. I new that the north was a little weird but who actually new it was this weird.
Gas up here is an average of $3.05 a gallon, which i figure by know isn't a far cry from what Texas is. Other than that everything else is about the same price as it is in the south.
Will post pictures of the sites around Connecticut and Massachusetts later today.

BIG DECISION
To update everyone, on July 1, 2007 we decided to make a big decision in our lives. We decided to make a change, Kevin left his job at Bexar Electric to start work for the company Fossil Graphics. This new company is based out of Atlanta, GA. The job involves us moving all over the U.S.A. Only being off for the months of November and December.
Our first stop on our new adventure was Columbus, OH. we stayed there for 2 weeks and then went on our or my first plane ride to Holyoke, MA. Which is around Springfield, MA. the hotel we were in was being remodeled and about 16mi. from the job so we moved into a Best Western in East Windsor, CT. That is where we are today.
We will soon post pictures and more blogs about our adventures.
