Welcome Allison Megan

Yesterday my cousin's fiance gave birth to a precious little girl Allison Megan. Though I am far away from home they sent me pictures of her and she is just so cute. Thank God she looks like her mother and not my cousin. Just kidding. Can't wait to get home and hold her and cuddle her. Congratulations to my cousin Clayton and to his Fiance Jennifer. Your new baby is gorgeous and she is definitely a treasure.

My Family

For those who read and keep up with my blog, sorry I haven't updated it in awhile. Well we moved out of the other hotel to one that is right on the water, it is nice. Haven't done much lately Kevin is back to working 58 hours a week so by the time he gets home he is just to tired to do anything so we just sit and relax or take a short walk on the beach. In other news I found out today that my sister is only going to have 1 baby, we were all worried that it would be twins. Scary to think twins which run high in our family. But the baby and mommy are both healthy. Talked to my aunt today and she is going to be a grandma again, my cousins fiance went into labor today with there little girl, an exciting day all around for my family. I am flying home tomorrow to stay a week so I get to see the new baby, my sister, and spend time with my precious Karsyn. Hope everyone is having a good summer and see you soon.

This one is for you........

For those of you back home and really know us racing is what we do, and since we can't be at home we have missed out on watching and helping our friends out with their race cars. And it is hard for us to sit so far away from home and all we can do is read updates on what is going on with our racing family. We love and miss them dearly and wish with all our hearts that we could be there to help. But since we can't we offer our support as they continue to race week after week and hope that they keep it up knowing that we are here with them even though we are so far away. To all our racing family "Keep up the good work and keep on racing".

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!!!

We woke up at 6am est to take the 18 mile drive to Indian Rock, Florida to hunt for sea shells. After arriving at the beach we spent about 2 hrs there and then decided to just drive around for a while. We got back to our hotel just in time for Kevin to watch his NASCAR race and to see his favorite driver win. He got his favorite food for supper and then watched a funny movie and went to bed, said that was the best father's day that he has had.

RAIN, RAIN, GO AWAY

For all those wondering what the weather is like here in Tampa, well here it is RAIN!! Since we have been in Florida it has rained every afternoon starting at about 4pm est and ending around 9pm. So much for venturing out and seeing the sights because by the time Kevin is back from work, well it is raining. And again today I look out the hotel window and to no surprise dark clouds and rain in the distance. Welcome to Florida is all I have to say, I for sure will not be in a hurry to come and visit Florida again any time soon. You just can't do anything without it raining.

For all that keep up with us on our blogsite, you really need to look at Straight through the Hills blogsite. We got some important and changing news yesterday and Karsyn wants to share it with all.

Updating

Sorry for the lack of updating, we have been trying to settle in our hotel room. We did venture out for a little bit Saturday {silly me forgot my camera}. We made it all the way to Clearwater which isn't that far. We found 2mi to the west is the beach, 2mi to the east is Tampa Bay Buckaneer Stadium, 1mi to the north is the airport, and all around is shops. Oh and another good thing about Florida "THEY HAVE RANCH STYLE BEANS" YEAH. I will take more pictures and remember my camera when we venture out next time.

RAIN, RAIN, RAIN

For all the loved ones back in Texas, I thought I would tease you a little bit. Let me explain a little for those who don't know, the whole time we were gone last year it rain a lot. We were home for 8 months and it rained for maybe 2 days not enough since we are know 9" below what we need. Well on our way here we saw rain and I just wanted to remind you what it looks like sorry for teasing you.

MADE IT

Well just to let everyone know, we left Tuesday morning for Tampa. We made a little detour to Coushatta and did a little gambling {with no luck}. We stayed the night in Mobile, AL and started again Wednesday. We made it to the hotel at 5:00 p.m. est and we are just sitting back relaxing. Talk to everyone soon.
