 Our house is coming right along.  Sorry I haven't posted much lately, we have been really busy.  Saturday we put the trusses up on the house and Sunday we put up all but 3 walls.  Today we will put up the last of the walls and anchor them to the slab.

TODAY IS THE DAY

Today we hired someone to come out and professionally finish the slab.  We had concrete delivered at 8am and by 6:30pm our slab was done.

***Since Kevin had to work the next day my dad and poppy went into town to get our lumber so we can start building the walls.

Beams

So this is it, all we are waiting on now is to get the concrete delivered and the weather to cooperate.  I will have to say that Kevin is doing an awesome job.  He has done the majority of this all by himself, except for the digging part.

OUR HOUSE

Since the move we have been very busy or should I say Kevin has been very busy.  We cleared the land and then Kevin started getting to work.  He built our forms for the concrete and all the beams to go in it, along with a friend they dug all the dirt out in order for the beams to be set in the concrete.

The Latest

Since the last time I updated my blog a lot has changed.  Kevin and I have moved out of our apartment and into a 12x12 room at my parents.  We did that in order for us to build our house.
